Russia and Central Asia remain the largest export destination for Chinese radiator parts, driven by long heating seasons and a large installed base of panel radiators that require replacement parts every year.

Demand follows a clear seasonal pattern. Distributors build stock between June and September so that goods clear customs and reach regional warehouses before the heating season begins. Orders placed after October generally arrive too late for that season.

Localisation requirements have become an important consideration for larger projects, and buyers increasingly ask for documentation covering material origin and certification. Suppliers who can provide material certificates and third-party inspection reports have a clear advantage.

Logistics have shifted towards rail and road routes through Central Asia. Transit times are longer than the traditional sea route but more predictable, and many distributors now split orders between the two to keep warehouses supplied.

For the coming season we recommend that Russian and Central Asian buyers confirm their thermostatic valve and air vent volumes by July, so that production slots and container space can be reserved in good time.
